The award has refreshed our school's best result in this competition.
The "Challenge Cup" series of competitions is known as the "Olympic" event for Chinese college students' scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship. First, it has inspired generations of young students to serve the people with real talents and practical learning, serve the country with innovation and creation, and become the cradle of cultivating young scientific and technological talents.
"Advocate science, pursue true knowledge, study diligently, be determined to innovate, and face the challenges." Since the first competition was held in 1989, the students of Chang’an University have always used the "Challenge Cup" as an opportunity to continuously improve their level of scientific research and innovation. The spirit moves forward on the journey of scientific research and innovation, and contributes their youth and wisdom to our university's "double first-class" construction and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Project Introduction:
Parking difficulty is a major problem that plagues urban residents today. With the development of the economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the number of residents' motor vehicles has increased significantly, and the problem of urban parking difficulties has become more and more prominent, which needs to be solved urgently. Based in Xi'an, the project team conducted an in-depth investigation and tackling of urban parking difficulties, and built a community shared parking system that relies on two-dimensional space-time and two-dimensional interdependence by relying on multi-disciplinary technology. It took two years and a total of 3,000 hours of investigation and research, analyzed more than 70 parking applications on the market, conducted in-depth research on 36 areas, and clarified the sharing willingness and deep-level parking needs of multi-party parking entities.
The team started from two aspects: the renovation of the parking area, the expansion of the parking space and the effective improvement of the utilization rate of the parking space, and the two-pronged approach to achieve the maximum and effective use of the parking resources under the healthy development of the city. The team also innovatively proposed a shared parking strategy of "government-led, community integration, and media publicity", and built a parking sharing system of "one model, two dimensions, and three major measures" with the framework of model-strategy-practice, and It has formed a multi-angle and all-round standardized manual research on parking resource tapping, which can be promoted, replicated, efficiently designed and constructed, covering streamline design, parking resource tapping, and greening design. It provides new ideas and methods to facilitate the travel of urban residents and create a new smart management of the future society.
The research results have been recognized by many industry experts such as Shaanxi Provincial Highway Society and Yang Yusheng, the former director of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Transportation, and reported by many media such as China Business Times. They also formed a CPPCC proposal and received parking from Xi'an Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau. Adoption and feedback from the Department and the Xi'an Traffic Police Brigade. At the same time, the team members published two papers during the project research period, two invention patents entered the substantive examination stage, one utility model patent and one software copyright were authorized. The research provides theoretical and practical references for optimizing urban parking management, integrating parking resources, promoting the construction of civilized cities, and ensuring smooth urban congestion.
