In December 2020, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and the environmental design major of Chang'an University jointly carried out the joint graduation project of "Rural Revitalization, Green Qinling". Teachers Wu Yan and Liu Dan from our school led 7 students from the 2017 class to participate in this activity. The subject of this graduation project is "Rural Landscape Planning and Design of Liuquankou Village, Jiangcun Town, Huyi District, Xi'an". The site is in a village and town at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains in Xi'an. Taking rural revitalization, ecological conservation and tourism economy as the starting point, it is carried out from three aspects: residential building renovation, rural tourism planning, and ecological landscape design. The event lasted nearly 6 months before and after the event, including three stages of research, mid-term report and final defense.

On June 18, 2021, the final defense of the joint graduation project was held at the School of Art, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. This defense invited Ma Hui, Vice President of Xixian Branch of Xi'an Urban Planning and Design Research Institute, Liu Xiaojun and Gu Qiulin of Xijian University and teachers. Wu Yan and Liu Dan from our school jointly formed the jury.In this activity, teachers and students are first arranged to visit the joint graduation design exhibition, and then each group of students will give a 30-minute program report. The jury team will comment on the results of the students. Finally, the judges will rate all the works and award awards. In the end, Lu Lanxin and Liu Simin's work "Exploring the Origin, Sewing and Symbiosis" won the Best Exploration Award in this joint defense, Chen Yuehui and Zhang Fan's work "Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land" won the Best Creativity Award, and Wu Junpeng's work "Residence·Retention·Introduction" Won the Most Humanistic Care Award, Zhang Jiefang's work "Liuquan New Appearance · Taoqu Village" won the Most Potential Award, and every student gained a lot in this activity.
